
Cable AC Withstand Voltage Test

It uses the inductance of the reactor and the capacitance of the test object to form a series resonant circuit. By using a fixed-inductance reactor and adjusting the frequency of the excitation power supply so that it matches the natural frequency of the test loop, the series circuit reaches resonance, generating a high voltage or large current on the test object and thereby achieving the purpose of the withstand voltage test.
Cable withstand voltage testing can detect hidden cable faults in advance, reduce the number of cable failures during operation, and lower sudden outage accidents caused by cable faults. In addition, planned outage maintenance with withstand voltage testing can reduce emergency repair frequency and improve power supply reliability.
