Real-time online monitoring. The cable integrated online monitoring system can perform real-time 24-hour continuous monitoring of the cable joints at the monitored location.
Multiple different principle testing methods are combined to improve the reliability of the system's diagnostic results. This system adopts three testing methods: partial discharge, grounding current, and temperature, which facilitates the timely detection of insulation hazards in the joints.
The system software can display data from dual optical cameras.
The Cable Joint Comprehensive Online Monitoring System is suitable for online monitoring of partial discharge, grounding current, and temperature of cable joints rated from 6kV to 500kV. It can display the amplitude and frequency of partial discharge, as well as current and temperature data in real time, and provide an intuitive display of temperature imaging information. It can determine the relative position of the discharge point, issue alarms when necessary, and store test spectra, discharge trends, and temperature images, thereby enabling timely detection of insulation defects in cable joints and providing criteria for evaluating their insulation level and aging degree, thus offering a basis for cable maintenance work.
Minimum measurable discharge amplitude of the system: 2pC; the frequency range of the pulse current sensor is 1M~100MHz; the measurement range of the current transformer is 0~300A; the sensitivity of the temperature sensor is ±0.5℃, with a temperature measurement range of -55℃~+125℃; the dual-light camera uses thermal imaging and visible light technology, with a temperature measurement accuracy of ±2℃ or 2% of the reading.
The system adopts comprehensive anti-interference measures such as analog filtering, pulse grouping, periodic pulse elimination, dynamic threshold setting, and phase window opening, ensuring the reliability of the test data.
