March 2024 High-Frequency Partial Discharge Testing for 110kV and 35kV Cables at State Grid Xinmi Power Supply Company

Frequent faults occurred in the 35 kV distribution network cables in Xinmi, Henan, affecting power supply reliability. High-frequency partial discharge live testing was carried out on all urban distribution cables, multiple partial discharge points were successfully identified, and timely reporting and maintenance were completed, significantly reducing the cable fault rate.
